Greg has been interested in human development, physical movement and embodiment since his late teens. At the University of Chicago, he studied philosophy and psychology and began his explorations of body and movement therapies, studying t’ai chi, chi kung, yoga, aikido and meditation.

Schedule an Appointment today »After graduating from the University of Chicago, Greg worked as a patient advocate at the University of Chicago Hospitals and attended the Chicago School of Massage Therapy. He was certified as a massage therapist in 1993. Greg then went on to train at the Rolf Institute in Boulder, CO. He was certified in Rolfing and Rolfing Movement in 1994 and as an Advanced Rolfer in 2000.

During the Summer of 1997 through 2002, Greg was a staff member at and consultant to Shake-A-Leg, an interdisciplinary rehabilitation program for people with spinal cord injuries and other neurological disorders.
Greg’s movement education background includes certification as a postural alignment therapist with Egoscue University. He has also studied with and been influenced by movement teachers and modalities such as Emilie Conrad Da’oud’s Continuum, Katy Bowman’s Nutritious Movement, and Caryn McHose’s experiential anatomy work.
Greg is also an ordained Diamond Approach Teacher. The Diamond Approach is a path of spiritual inquiry and exploration. Greg has been a student of this path since 1996. By discovering the unconscious patterns that create your familiar sense of ego self, you reveal the deeper aspects of your essential nature such as real compassion, joy, strength, and peace.
